The SNOW SKIING CENTRE  on the corner Bond and Elgin at 74 Bond Street, Ferndale, Randburg however encompasses the full spectrum of Ski and Snowboarding requirements and is involved in LOCAL SKIING in the following manner: --

SKI SERVICE AND REPAIRS: Wax: R120; Edge: R120; Base repairs: R120 per set; R300 Full service

SKI CLOTHING RENTAL: Fully imported ski jackets and ski pants may be rented for the following:

1 day: Ski Jacket R70 Ski Pants R50; One-Piece Suit R80; Weekend: Jacket R175, Pants R125; One-Piece Suit R200; (taken on Thursday and returned on the Monday);

LEARN TO SKI ON THE SKI DECK BEFORE YOU GO:

THE SKI DECK in FERNDALE is a "ski training machine" for teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers. Because local instruction and snow conditions are less than ideal (or non existent) it would be very wise to consider taking some lessons on the Ski Deck prior to departing to: give you knowledge of the basics of skiing or boarding and the equipment; reduce your chances of injury; make the most of your time on the snow (especially as you are probably only going for a few days). The Ski Deck has recently devised a special course for local skiers/boarders and conditions, designed to take you quickly to advanced techniques. Cost of this course is R960 – normal price R1140.

Intermediate and advanced skiers/boarders would benefit considerably in technique, style and fitness by also availing themselves of this excellent offer (only available to local skiers).
